We meet together because of Jesus’ love for us and through Him we have a relationship with God and with each other.
Together we are committed to developing genuine, positive relationships. This requires the commitment and hard work of all but is worth the effort.
Different types of people belong to our church family. All are equally important and bring something to it. When someone needs help, other people rally round.
Jesus did not turn away, exclude or reject anyone and we endeavor to do the same.
We believe that everyone needs to feel secure in order to be at their best. God can provide a shelter and a place of rest and protection through the church family.
Everyone has God given skills and abilities and they can be used by Him to help others. All are welcome to participate and we hope they will get involved.
People are created as unique. We want everyone to develop personally and spiritually and aim to give them the encouragement, support and space to make personal choices.
We are committed to development in the lives of local people and often work with other people and organizations to encourage relationships and positive change.
We believe God loves and is working among the people of Thetford and wants the best for them. We have a part to play in living out our faith in the community and by trying to be a positive influence there. We believe that God cares deeply for those who are pushed aside, looked down on or left out.
Faith needs to be seen in action as well as heard. In order to make sense to others we need to show how faith in God has a real connection to everyday life and how a relationship with Him makes a difference to our lives. We have to earn the right to tell others about the Lord Jesus, but are always happy to do so.
